Bewl Rookery Paca-picnics are at 12noon from Thursday to Sunday, starting in May 2021.
They are exclusive to one group booking each day of a minimum of 2 people and maximum 6.
£35 per person. Your hamper menu is below.
On arrival, you will walk across our meadow where the alpacas roam to your private picnic area to enjoy your delicious picnic lunch sitting in our Copse.
After lunch we will introduce you to the alpacas and you can feed them carrots, take photos and hang out with them.
What is a Copse? It is a small group of trees. Our copse was planted in 2018 and consists of natural trees including Wild Cherry, Silver Birch, Field Maple, Common Oak, Rowan and Grey Willow. They were planted as tiny saplings from the Woodland Trust and will take many years to grow. At the moment they are still small but they are a perfect place to sit and enjoy the view, the alpacas and a picnic and imagine a future of lots of trees!

After lunch, you are welcome to walk in our summer meadow, which is particularly well suited for older folk and anyone looking for an easy walk in the countryside. Walks of any length, from a few hundred metres to about 1 kilometre.
Stroll around and find our wildlife areas, sit in the shade of the Copper Beeches or on a bench next to the alpacas field shelter to take a short break to enjoy the view.
Along with the alpacas, our small holding also consists of bees, hens, vegetables and flowers.
You can also buy flowers to give as a gift while at our Afternoon Tea. Please order ahead from Carol.
There is also easy access to Bewl Water by public footpath.
